The Counselling Centre

The Bedford Counselling Centre, Bates House, is one of five centres grouped in the Herts & Beds Counselling Foundation. The Counselling Foundation is a registered charity, charity number 1014988. The main aim of the Foundation is to provide a confidential, accessible counselling service for all members of the local community. The Centre also offers training in psychodynamic counselling from Introductory and Foundation courses through to Advanced Diploma level.

In recent years, the Centre has maintained the number of counselling sessions it undertakes, which demonstrates the need for the service. The Centre also acts as
a provider of counselling under contracts to the NHS and to public companies, this activity helps to support its charitable function and to provide counselling to
the community.
